DNC Chairman Howard Dean, in one speech, typifies what normal Americans see in today's Democrat party...nothing. One thought after another condradicts the one before. "This is a moral nation, and we want it to be a moral nation again." Run that by me again? "We're about to enter the '60s again!" he proclaims, but he wants to make sure they don't screw things up like they did in the '60s.
Public housing and welfare queens were created by the Democrat Party which led to the ruination of the black family and continues to this day. "Those mistakes were not the downfall of our program," says Dean. One assumes he's referring to even bigger mistakes. After
taxing the American people hundreds of billions of dollars and 5 decades later he states that the 'Great Society' welfare programs "created a culture of dependence, and that's not good for anybody". Dean and the Democrats will now switch to the novel concept of "emphasizing the value of work".
But there will be no handouts this go 'round. Nope, no handouts, but, well maybe some handouts. We'll force business to pay uneducated, surly, lazy no-shows a 'living wage' so they can support their five children with no father in the family. We'll force business to cover their expensive government controlled health insurance...but there won't be any handouts!
Will Dean's call for a return to the moral values of the 50's include allowing God back in schools,
outlawing sod*my (Townhall middle school censors) and same-sex marriage, and overturning Roe v Wade?
