Senator Casey's pedophilia rationale

CNSnews has an article on Senator Bob Casey, the Catholic 'pro-life' Democrat from PA, and his support for the super charged pro-abortion candidate, Barack Obama.  Obama not only favors partial birth abortion, but as an Illinois legislator, he voted against a bill protecting babies that actually survived late-term abortions.  What a guy!  Query:  What technique does an abortionist use to kill the baby once delivered?  Strangulation?  Punching?  Stomping?  What?

Sending a pro-life Democrat like Casey to Washington serves only to ensure Reid and the Democrats are the majority party controlling the Senate with their dominant anti life agenda.  Likewise, sending Obama to the White House to appoint more liberal judges to the Supreme Court will serve to facilitate more abortion.

Casey's priorities of health care and recession are trivial relative to the economic conditions of Germany after WWI.  Using his logic, it can be argued that the good German people had more reason to accept the extermination of 6 million Jews as a price for fixing their economy than Casey has by enabling his party's agenda of 35 million dead babies as a price for improving our 5% unemployment.

What is Senator Casey's opinion of the bishops who protected the homosexual priests that preyed on young boys?  Remaining silent, ignoring the problem, transferring them to another diocese; these are all ways in which many of Casey's Catholic bishops handled the problem.  The bishops obviously felt that while being against homosexual pedophilia themselves, "You need...someone who you think can deal with a whole set of broad-based challenges" to quote Casey.  Evidently, the good works these priests performed outweighed any disagreements the Bishops may have had on one or two issues.  We all have our rationale.

Abortion and euthanasia are acts of murder. Health care and working with the weak and needy are acts of charity. To equate acts of charity and acts of murder as though they were a common ground in relation to justice is ludicrous.  Father David C. Trosch
