With autopsy results still pending, it's not clear yet if Uncle Mike actually murdered his 12 year old niece, but if he did, there's a lesson here for all child rapists. According to Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, "the death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child." His four liberal colleagues joined him, while the four more conservative justices dissented. For more rulings like this, Vote Obama in '08!
Serving as a 'shout out' to all child rapists, Kennedy mused that "rape and other crimes may be as devastating in their harm, as here, but 'in terms of moral depravity and of the injury to the person and to the public,' they cannot be compared to murder. To further comfort the up and coming child rapist, Kennedy stated that (in his mind) there are "evolving standards of decency" in the United States and "there is a national consensus against capital punishment for the crime of child rape."
So there you go, child rapist. In the liberal mind of 'Justice' Kennedy and Obama's other four acolytes on the court, if you're going to rape a child, even a bunch of children over a period of time, don't murder them, just traumatize them into not talking. Even if you sadistically cause an eight year old girl to 'bleed profusely from the vaginal area, cause a laceration to the left wall of the vagina that “separated her cervix from the back of her vagina, causing her rectum to protrude into the vaginal structure, and where her entire perineum is torn from the posterior fourchette to the anus, just keep this in mind!
