You just don't cancel a holocaust in the middle of one

Cardinal Francis George, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and archbishop of Chicago, said on Saturday that the University of Notre Dame had “brought extreme embarrassment” to Catholics by inviting pro-abortion President Barack Obama to speak at the university’s commencement and that the school “didn’t understand what it means to be Catholic when they issued this invitation."

But,

...the cardinal warned that "you just don't (cancel an invitation to the President of the United States)".

The cardinal warned?  Who is he warning?  If the invitation is cancelled, what are the consequences?; underscoring that the Catholic Church is serious about abortion?  This is the continuation of the quasi right to life feint in the Church where Bishops talk about it outside the pulpit (never on a Sunday, indeed, they forbid it), continue administering the Host to abortion enablers like fake Catholics Pelosi, Kerry, and Casey, which leaves your parishioners thinking they can make up their own minds (as 53% of them did when they voted Obama).

Instead, we'll go ahead and smile at Him, and shake His hand, and applaud Him, and thank Him, and honor Him.  After all, "you just don't cancel" a holocaust in the middle of one, do you Cardinal George?
