Daughter saves mother, 80, left by doctors to starve
Just reading the headline, I began thinking of people close to me that might have had bureaucrats in Washington decline the additional expense necessary to care for them if ObamaCare were in force today. Afterall, Obama's Dr. HealthCare, aka, Dr. Ezekial Emanuel (Rham's brother) 'bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change," he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).'
Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, "as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others" (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).'
The Big O can argue all He wants about Death Panels. He's been killing off viable babies for twenty years already, there's no persuasive defense that He will allow old people, in the last 6 to 12 months of their lives, or 5 years, to suck off a large portion of the pie. Why would you pay for grandma's pace maker when you could fund Johnny's sex change or Kiaisha's abortion?
And if you believe in affirmative action in education, why not in ObamaCare? Afterall, blacks have a shorter lifespan than whites, so we'll allocate more of the pie to them and have whites stand in line a little longer, no? It's not their fault they murder each other at an alarming rate and pursue other lifestyle choices from smoking to fried food to fast food to drugs to illegitimate babies that all contribute to the shorter life span. Look for that checkbox on ObamaCare medical forms: White, Black, Hispanic, American Indian. Add 5 points for Hispanic, 10 for American Indian, and 25 for Black when the Acorn worker tallies up the score to see it you get the surgery or "just taking the painkiller". And if that Acorn worker wants to live, give 50 points to anyone with the name Mohamed (subtract 10 for Joshua). After hundreds of billions in welfare payments, they still don't have their forty acres and a mule (although they have their jackasss in the White House). Reparations will always be due these former slaves, freed by Dr. Martin Luther King in 1968, and freed by Barack Obama in 2008 for those born into slavery in 1969 to present.
'The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care.
