The Chicago Sun Times has an editorial exposing the childishness of liberalism and why it is so dangerous. Obviously the Sun-Times' objective wasn't to offer its own liberalism up for ridicule, but thanks anyway. The accompanying picture begins the expose' by showing an angry Mayor Daley with uber gun confiscator Rev. Michael "We're going to snuff you out" Pfleger in March. Mayor Daley and Rev. Pfleger are angry because certain elements within Chicago are 'snuffing' others out, seemingly just ignoring his honor and his holiness' protestations.
Daley is calling for a summit to find ways to quash the murder rate, and you can bet gun 'control' will be the only thing on the agenda, from mass registration, to buy back, to shutting down gun stores. Just like Pfleger's sermons, no mention will be made of holding black leaders and white liberals accountable for the destruction of the black family, leaving only a single female to raise children from assorted absent fathers. Unless blacks address that issue in their churches, instead of wasting time "God Damning America", murdering off their own community will not subside. Tragic, isn't it, that these same black leaders and white liberals enable abortion within that community. They're killing off the children before they're born, but if they make it out alive, their policies and programs enable the mayhem and murder later. But back to the editorial.
The Sun-Times whines about how much Chicago 'cares' about the murder rate (it's making their leaders and their city look bad). Drugs, bad parents (are you sick of seeing the plural used to describe a single black mother?), bad schools, and bad jobs aren't the reasons for the murder culture in this community...it's the gun, and that's why Daley's really, really mad. Chicago would be Utopia if it weren't for the damn gun. Black fourteen year old boys would be angelic overnight if it weren't for the damn gun! Black fourteen year old girls would be home each night washing dishes, doing homework with Mom while Dad was sitting in the easy chair smoking his pipe after a rewarding day at the plant. Saturdays would be spent helping around the house, catching a ball game with Dad at the park while Mom and Sis attend a tea for one of the neighbor's daughters graduating from college. Yes, Utopia, IL, but for the DAMN GUN!!
In typical liberal fashion, the Sun-Times tells us that just three days ago they had 'begged' Chicago to just stop the killing, dammit! To emphasize how serious they were, they even 'drove home our point by reversing almost every word on the front page of our Tuesday paper, saying, "We cannot turn our backs." We called for a civic campaign to stem the violence.' Alas, that didn't work. It had to crush the effeminates in the newsroom, having glad-handed each other Tuesday on a job well done in ending the city's murder problem, to wake up the next morning and find their boyfriend curled up in the fetal position on the bathroom floor after hearing on the radio of more Chicago murders overnight.
This will be Daley's second conference on murder. The first was back in '92. You can't call too many of these as it points out your incompetence. But this one, ahha!, this will surely do it. More teachers, pastors, and parent(s) will attend to really, really find the solution this time. As the Sun-Times writes throughout their editorial, 'We can't stop trying'. Right. Let's all really, really, really try this time because we haven't really really been trying for the last 50 years since the demise by liberals of the black family.
The editorial ends with this warning to critics,: 'We can't turn our backs. And as Daley pushes forward, we'll have his back.' Make that effete braggadocio.
