Vatican II homosexuals in my Church

Homosexuality and the Church Crisis:    Abstract:  Due to clergy sex abuse scandals centered primarily in the Northern hemisphere, the moral authority of the Roman Catholic Church has been subjected to an opportunistic siege by prominent individuals and organizations who see the chance to advance their goals, including the ordination of women and the suspension of the requirement for priestly celibacy.
There is also a strongly defensive element to this strategy.  Opponents of the Church know that there is a well-documented and strong correlation between male homosexuality and child sexual abuse, but claim that there is no evidence supporting this connection.
And, of course, those who are currently attacking the Church hope that they can undermine its moral authority to preach on the sinfulness of homosexual behavior and weaken its opposition to ersatz homosexual “marriage.”
This paper demonstrates that there is indeed a very strong link between male homosexuality and child sexual abuse.

'Vatican Appoints Strongly Pro-life Bp. Wenski to 'Gay-Friendly' Miami Archdiocese'.  Well, that's a start.  Now, what about L.A.?

Liberation Theology Catholic hospitals

'A group representing Catholic hospitals Saturday rallied behind President Barack Obama's health care bill ahead of a House vote in which anti-abortion lawmakers could play a decisive role.'  Giving her the benefit of doubt, chief executive of the Catholic Health Association, Carol Keehan, is trusting that this bill will never lead to federal funding of abortion.  Then again, there are those many Kennedy Catholics for Choice.

Ms. Keehan writes that 'it represents a "major first step" toward covering all Americans and would make "great improvements" for millions of people. The more than 600 Catholic hospitals across the country do not provide abortions as a matter of conscience.'
Well, get those trash bags ready, Babe.

It's not going to matter to Ms. Keehan if the 'Free Health for Millions' bill eventually is mandated by a federal judge to cover abortions.  And it's not going to matter to her if those 600 Catholic hospitals are forced to perform or close.  She'll just say "that wasn't in the original bill" which she supported (and by extension was too stupid to recognize past actions of liberal Democrats and judges), but now that they are mandated, she cannot, in good conscience, close the doors on thousands millions of poor people.
In the Catholic Church, poor people trump life.  That's why we hear sermons about the poor, but nothing about abortion or homosexuality.

Yes, they will perform abortions, but only at the very highest levels of professional Catholic healthcare standards as set by Planned Parenthood's Catholic Inroads Coalition.  And as good Catholics, and in conjuction with the Embryonic Stem Cell 'No Baby Parts Left Behind' Program, all parts will be shoveled and squeegeed off the floor to be 'donated' to the Ethical Treatment of Dead Baby Parts, LLC, where they will be mixed and stirred and Cuisinarted and later injected into gullible victims in the belief that it will cure something or other.  And Ms. Keehan will go to the mall later that day.

As Catholic Charities shutter its adoption services in Washington D.C. because of legislation mandating that 'Homosexual Lifestyle is as Morally Righteous as Mom and Dad's', aka "So saith the Lord", therefore C.C. must place innocent young children into the homes of practicing homosexuals, to be raised with their values (See below: Having a homosexual parent(s) appears to increase the risk of incest with a parent by a factor of about 50.”

A major study by Bell and Weinberg revealed that 78% of male homo- sexual "affairs" (relationships entered into with an intent of commitment) lasted less than three years.

73% of the psychiatrists in the American Psychiatric Association who responded to a survey by Harold I. Lief said that they thought that homosexual men are less happy than others. 70% percent said they believed that the homosexuals' problems were due more to personal conflicts than to social stigmatization.

David McWhirter and Andrew Mattison conducted a non-random study of 156 stable committed male homosexual couples. They found that none of the over 100 couples that had been together for more than 5 years had been sexually monogamous or exclusive. The authors, themselves a gay couple, argued that for male couples, sexual monogamy is a passing stage of homophobia and that many homosexuals separate emotional fidelity and sexual exclusivity. What matters for male couples is emotional not physical faithfulness.

Many studies have shown that children of homosexual households are 2 to 4 times as likely to become homosexual themselves as compared to the general population.

In a national health care survey 75% of the nearly 2000 lesbian respondents reported they had pursued psychological counselling of some kind, many for treatment of long-term depression or sadness.

Homosexual men are 6 times more likely to have attempted suicide than are heterosexual men. Study by Bell and Weinberg, “Homosexualities…”, Table 21.12

Studies indicate that between 25 and 33% of homosexual men and women are alcoholics. Study by Robert J. Kus, “Alcoholics Anonymous and Gay American Men”, Journal of Homosexuality, Volume 14, No.2 (1987), p.254

Bell and Weinberg reported evidence of widespread sexual compulsion among homosexual men. 83% of the homosexual men surveyed estimated they had had sex with 50 or more partners in their lifetime, 43% estimated they had sex with 500 or more partners; 28% with 1,000 or more partners.Bell and Weinberg p 308

The same study revealed that homosexual men have to a great extent separated sexuality from relationship. The survey showed 79% of the respondents saying that over half of their sexual partners were strangers. Seventy percent said that over half of their sexual partners were people with whom they had sex only once.

In their study of the sexual profiles of 2,583 older homosexuals published in Journal of Sex Research, Paul Van de Ven et al. found that "the modal range for number of sexual partners ever [of homosexuals] was 101–500." In addition, 10.2 percent to 15.7 percent had between 501 and 1000 partners. A further 10.2 percent to 15.7 percent reported having had more than 1000 lifetime sexual partners.

A survey conducted by the homosexual magazine Genre found that 24 percent of the respondents said they had had more than 100 sexual partners in their lifetime. The magazine noted that several respondents suggested including a category of those who had more than 1,000 sexual partners.

90% of lesbians surveyed had been recipients of one or more acts of verbal aggression from their partners during the year prior to the study, and 31% reported experiencing physical abuse (Lettie L. Lockhart et al., "Letting out the Secret: Violence in Lesbian Relationships," Journal of Interpersonal Violence 9 (1994): 469–492. ) and in another reference we see that “the incidence of domestic violence among gay men is nearly double that in the heterosexual population.” Gwat Yong Lie and Sabrina Gentlewarrier, "Intimate Violence in Lesbian Relationships: Discussion of Survey Findings and Practice Implications," Journal of Social Service Research 15 (1991): 41–59.

Lesbians are 3 times more likely to abuse alcohol and to suffer from other compulsive behaviours. Joanne Hall, "Lesbians Recovering from Alcoholic Problems: An Ethnographic Study of Health Care Expectations," Nursing Research 43 (1994): 238–244

A study of homosexual twins found that they are more likely to have attempted suicide than their heterosexual twin. R. Herrell et al., "A Co-twin Study in Adult Men," Archives of General Psychiatry 56 (1999): 867–874

The life expectancy for gay and bisexual men is 8 to 20 years less than for men in general. Robert S. Hogg et al., "Modeling the Impact of HIV Disease on Mortality in Gay and Bisexual Men," International Journal of Epidemiology 26 (1997): 657.

“A disproportionate percentage 29 percent of the adult children of homosexual parents had been specifically subjected to sexual molestation by that homosexual parent, compared to only 0.6 percent of adult children of heterosexual parents having reported sexual relations with their parent. … Having a homosexual parent(s) appears to increase the risk of incest with a parent by a factor of about 50.” P. Cameron and K. Cameron, "Homosexual Parents," Adolescence 31 (1996): 772

See ya at the mall, Ms. Keehan.

ps: Archbishop Raymond Burke, the head of Rome's Apostolic Signatura, has a response to Keehan and others in the 'Lesbian Lobby' within the Church (here)  The question is, "What is the Vatican going to do about 'them'?

NY Times Discovers That Homosexuality Leads to Bleak Future

Posted by Van Helsing at April 5, 2011 6:12 AM

You can always count on the New York Times to break big surprises. Who would have guessed that the depraved and degenerate homosexual lifestyle political correctness requires us to revere is bad for the health?

Older lesbian, gay and bisexual adults in California are more likely to suffer from chronic physical and mental health problems than their heterosexual counterparts, a new analysis has found. They also are less likely to have live-in partners or adult children who can help care for them. …
Older gay and bisexual men — ages 50 to 70 — reported higher rates of high blood pressure, diabetes and physical disability than similar heterosexual men, according to the researchers. Older gay and bisexual men also were 45 percent more likely to report symptoms of psychological distress and 50 percent more likely to rate their health as fair or poor. In addition, one in five gay men in California was living with H.I.V. infection, the researchers found.
Yet half of California's older gay and bisexual men lived alone, compared with 13.4 percent of older heterosexual men.
Older lesbian and bisexual women experienced similar rates of diabetes and hypertension compared with straight women of their age, but reported significantly more physical disabilities and psychological distress and were 26 percent more likely to say their health was fair or poor.

The old-fashioned might imagine the solution to include our rulers no longer encouraging homosexuality through schools and the media. But as government consolidates control of the healthcare system, every crisis becomes opportunity — to spend more of our money.

Step 1: Declare the situation to be a healthcare "disparity"; i.e., a health-related situation alleged to disfavor a privileged special interest group.

Steven P. Wallace, associate director of the U.C.L.A. Center for Health Policy Research and lead author of the brief, said it was important to raise awareness of these disparities in the gay and lesbian community and among the organizations that provide services for seniors.

Get Obama some knee pads and chap stick

Note 2 things in this picture of Obama and the Chinese premiere:  The premiere making direct eye contact, and the degree of extension of the premiere's arm (a better view is from the shadow).  It's obvious, the outreach is from Obama.  "Come unto Caesar, Boy", the premiere seems to be thinking.  "Yes, massa."

"Render unto Caesar..."

The Pharisees were certain they could trap Jesus into either affirming God's law, or that it was lawful to comply with Caesar's law and pay his tribute.  Either affirm God's Law and the Pharisees would 'rat out' Jesus to Caesar, thereby getting rid of Jesus with the sword of Caesar, or show Him to be a hypocrite of God's law.

[Mat 22:17] [The Pharisees sent their disciples to Jesus, who said,] Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

Jesus was fully aware that it is against God's Law to give tribute to a heathen "Caesar".  He also knew that it would enrage "Caesar" for Him to say so.  He evaded their trap by not defining what was or was not "Caesar's".  He didn't even affirm that the penny with "Caesar's" image and superscription was to be rendered to "Caesar".  Jesus' answer was that the Pharisees should render to "Caesar", a heathen who did not know or obey God's Law, exactly what was due to any heathen or Israelite who did not obey God's Law:

[Num 15:15] One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations:  One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.  Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of (God's) law.  And all the people shall say, Amen.

Therefore, the Pharisees knew that what they had just been told was to render unto "Caesar" what God's Law required: death, and since they were declining to carry out the sentence of the law, they were hypocrites, since they were the enforcement officials of God's Law and knew what "Caesar" was due under God's Law. They had also been told that what they were doing by not harkening to carry out the sentence of the law, that they themselves should be put to death along with "Caesar" in order to put their own evil away from Israel.

We fought a "whale of a fight."

GOP promises "whale of a fight" if court pick "too liberal".

Let Maudie be the first to predict that the "whale of a fight" will last for about a week or two, then everything is hunky-dorey, "Everything we said about him or her or he/she, is not as bad as we first thought.  We can live with this one."

Republicans just can't hold firm.  From Romney with Massachusetts Care, to Newt and his Pelosi endorsement, to Steele at the strip club, they cave on values or common sense.

Bishops betraying the Catholic Church

Great article from 2002, apropos for the last 100 years.  Systemic infestation of the communist liberal ideology, using feminists and homosexuals.  Author Mary Jo Anderson notes that liberals hope for as much chaos within The Church as to wear down the poof bishops and cardinals into electing a 'reformer' after Benedict.  Their goal is to "silence the lone international voice for morality" on issues such as abortion, euthanasia, and homosexuality.

What The Church needs is a return to tradition and a 'Saturday night massacre' of known bishops, cardinals, nuns, and priests who don't tow the line.  We've tried the vernacular Mass, ripping up the Communion rail so as not to humiliate ourselves kneeling at the foot of the altar, handing out The Host like a card dealer in Vegas, the always popular with the Handshakers, "Peace be with you", which today passes for confession, and last but not least, the little card table thingy in front of the real altar (if it hasn't already been ripped out in your parish) with a picnic tablecloth thrown over so the congregation can now adore the rock star priest while the Crucifix with Jesus dieing for our sins fades from focus (if it hasn't already been ripped out in your parish).

Christianity corrupted

Free health care, free public housing, and no moral authority.  What could good Obama voters want more?  The NEA, Planned Parenthood, and Obama's education czar push for sex ed in Kinneygarten (age appropriate of course) and this is the result.

It's a 50 year old question, but, ahem, "Where were the parents?"  Oops, sorry.  Parent in the singular.  Don't confuse these people with questions about good old Dad.  "We all got kids" one of the Obama voters stated.  Yes, we know you all 'got' kids.  It's how you and your Democrat Welfare Party are raising them that worry and anger the normal people.  And no matter what the PC police tell you, you aren't normal.  Living off welfare isn't normal, especially for 50 years.

It's an old saw on this blog, but the black church is a festering pool of liberation theology where the likes of Obama himself was stewed in victimhood and reparational dogma.  It would be fascinating to analyze the Ten Commandments and determine how many are left in black theology.  The Democrat Welfare Party shows up with a bus and some hot dogs and "We're down to get some of Obama's stash" at the local voting booth.  The bus is driven by the black preacher with money in his pocket from Acorn.

You shall not covet . . . anything that is your neighbor's. . . . You shall not desire your neighbor's house, his field, ... or his ox, or his as's, or anything that is your neighbor's.

'The Way' back for the Church

From Gerald Warner:

It has become fashionable to claim that the sex abuse scandal currently afflicting the Catholic Church is “its biggest crisis since the Reformation”. Oh, really? Tell me about it. The abuse issue is just a small part of the much larger crisis that has engulfed the Church since the Second Vatican Catastrophe and which is more serious than the Reformation.

Abolish clerical celibacy? The last thing a priest abusing altar boys needs or wants is a wife. There is no compulsory celibacy in the Church of England, but that has not prevented vicars and boy scouts furnishing gratifying amounts of copy to the tabloid Sunday papers for the past century. Celibacy goes against the grain of today’s “unrepressed”, “non-judgemental”, let-it-all-hang-out attitude to sex; its continued existence is a reproach to the hedonist Western world; so Rome must be persuaded to abolish it – likewise its condemnation of divorce, abortion, contraception, homosexuality and all the other fetishes of liberal society. Dream on, secularists.

“Irish abuse victims disappointed by Pope’s letter.” Of course they are. They were disappointed by it before they had read it, before it was even written. Any other response would diminish the power they find themselves wielding against the Church. Have they a legitimate grievance? In most cases, yes. They have a ferocious grievance against the “filth” (Benedict XVI’s term, long before he came under public pressure) who defiled them and treated them like animals.

How could clergy transgress so gravely against the doctrines of the Church? What doctrines? These offences took place in the wake of Vatican II, when doctrines were being thrown out like so much lumber. These offenders were the children of Paul VI and “aggiornamento” (bringing up to date, Protestant style). Once you have debauched the Mystical Body of Christ, defiling altar boys comes easily.

The “neglected” sacraments and devotional practices that the Pope says could have prevented this did not just wither on the vine: they were actively discouraged by bishops and priests. In the period when this abuse was rampant, there was just one mortal sin in the Catholic Church: daring to celebrate or attend the Latin Tridentine Mass. A priest raping altar boys would be moved to another parish; as for a priest who had the temerity to celebrate the Old Mass – his feet would not touch the ground.
There was a determined resolve among the bishops to deny any meaningful catechesis to the young. That is the generation, wholly ignorant of the faith, that in Ireland achieved material prosperity in the “Celtic Tiger” economy. Initially it still attended Mass (or what passed for Mass) out of social conformity. Then the sex abuse scandal gave Irish post-Vatican II agnostics the perfect pretext for apostasy: tens of thousands who had never been abused, nor met anybody who had, found an excuse to stay in bed on Sunday mornings.

The abusive priests are not the only hypocrites. “I am so shocked by the abuse scandal I am leaving the Church.” Right. So, the fact that some degenerates who should never have been ordained violated young people – in itself a deplorable sin – means that the Son of God did not come down to earth, redeem mankind on the cross and found the Church? This appalling scandal no more compromises the truths of the Faith than the career of Alexander VI or any other corrupt Renaissance Pope.

Should bishops be forced to resign? Oh yes – approximately 95 per cent of them worldwide. These clowns in their pseudo-ethnic mitres and polyester vestments with faux-naïve Christian symbols, spouting their ecumaniac episcobabble, have presided over more than sexual abuse: they have all but extinguished the Catholic faith with their modernist fatuities. They should be retired to monasteries to spend their remaining years considering how to account to their Maker for a failed stewardship that has lost countless millions of souls.

Benedict XVI should take advantage of a popular wave of revulsion against the failed episcopate to sack every 1960s flared-trousered hippy who is obstructing Summorum Pontificum. It is a unique opportunity to cull the hireling shepherds and clear away the dead wood of the Second Vatican Catastrophe. It is time to stop the apologies and reinstate apologetics; to rebuild all that has been destroyed in the past 40 years; to square up to liberals and secularists as so many generations of Catholics did in the past; to proclaim again the immutable truths of the One True Church that, in the glory of the Resurrection, can have no legitimate posture other than triumphalism.

Church infested with Vatican II vermin

While you wait 4 months to get your child a Cat Scan, or sit 6 hours in the putrid room of the DMV/Department of Nationale' Health Servicios for a broken arm, remember this.

Planned Parenthood waits for no one.  Abortion is primary and immediate.  And the reason you are waiting is because Vatican II Catholics, aka Kennedy Catholics for Choice, supported splitting the pie.  Some for your child's C Scan, a little for your Bell Curve doctor in the putrid office back of the DMV, and whatever is needed to speedily kill another baby, made in God's image.

The Vatican and the Pope continue to spout off on "the poor" and the environment, while allowing bloodsucking sallow vermin to receive The Host whenever they show up.  As the Pope speaks without any specificity regarding who the Bible calls on to help "the poor" (and it ain't the Roman Empire), his words are used by pro-abortion groups and by downright liberal Catholic fools.

The bottom line, the only words needed is that Planned Parenthood and Democrats supported this health care takeover.  So now we know with clarity, when push comes to shove, there are no Pro Life Democrats.  To be a Democrat, you favor abortion.
Whether it's to help "the poor" or you're just a good little comrade like our President, everything trumps life.
A relieved Pro-Abortion Democrat Stupack after his courageous Nationale' Health Servicios vote.  Stupack has asked to be present at the first government paid abortion with supporters.

Baby killing Catholic Democrats pass 'Kill the Babies to Help the Poor; So Saith What's his Name'

Bart Stupak, Mary Landrieu, Nancy Pelosi, et al, "Kill them all.  We're here for the voters."

Phyllis Schlafly, president and founder of the conservative grassroots public policy organization Eagle Forum, made the following remarks after the public announcement that formerly pro-life Democrat Bart Stupak (D-MI) will cast a "yes" vote for the Senate health care bill today in the House:

"It is naive for any elected official, especially one who describes himself as 'pro-life,' to expect that a promise to issue an Executive Order that reasserts the intentions of the Hyde Amendment will be fulfilled by the most pro-abortion president to ever sit in the White House. Perhaps Mr. Stupak and his fellow pro-life Democrats forget that President Obama's first Executive Order was the repeal of the Mexico City Policy to allow for international funding of abortion."

"Not only would an Executive Order be rendered meaningless in the face of Congress passing legislation which actively provides for the massive expansion and funding of abortion services, but anyone who doubts the abortion tsunami which awaits this bill becoming law lives in a fantasy world."

"Barack Obama has lined every existing federal agency with the most dedicated pro-abortion ideologues, and we know that he will continue this pattern of pro-abortion appointments when it comes time for him to fill the over-100 bureaucracies created to administer his socialized health care program."

"Any formerly pro-life Democrat who casts a 'Yes' vote for this Senate health care bill tonight will be forever remembered as being among the deciding votes which facilitated the largest expansion of abortion services since Roe v. Wade."

"Mr. Stupak and his Democrat followers have now clarified that you cannot be pro-life and be a Democrat.  If abortion was truly their biggest issue, they wouldn't willfully align themselves with the Party of Death."

"This vote will expose the myth of the 'pro-life Democrat.'  With this single vote, the Democratic Party will divide our nation into the Party of Death and the Party of Life, and future elections will never be the same."

Ephebophilia in Catholic Church

Homosexual priests prey on adolescent boys.  Vote for Gay Adoption!  It's about fairness.

Pope Benedict XVI rebuked Irish bishops Saturday for "grave errors of judgment"
We cannot allow mistakes to be repeated and that's why we need complete clarification."

We cannot allow mistakes to be repeated and that's why we need complete clarification."

In 2002, Rt. Rev. William Persell, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, said in a sermon on Good Friday, "We would be naïve and dishonest were we to say this is a Roman Catholic problem and has nothing to do with us because we have married and female priests in our church. Sin and abusive behaviour know no ecclesial or other boundaries."

In 2002, at the height of the media frenzy over Catholic sex abuse cases, James Cobble, executive director of CMR, said that although the Catholic Church had received the most media attention, "this problem is even greater with the Protestant churches simply because of their far larger numbers." Of the approximately 350,000 churches in the US, only 5 per cent are Catholic.

Moreover, the evidence showed that abuse cases in the Catholic Church had been linked to the surge of sexual license in society in general coinciding with the "sexual revolution" of the 1960s. Alleged abuses increased dramatically in the 1960s, peaked in the 1970s, declined in the 1980s and by the 1990s had returned to the levels of the 1950s.

The sexual abuse crisis in the Catholic Church in the US and abroad was a matter of homosexuals preying on adolescent boys, not one of pedophilia, said the Vatican's representative at the UN in Geneva, Switzerland. It is "more correct," said Archbishop Silvano Tomasi, to speak of ephebophilia, a homosexual attraction to adolescent males, than pedophilia, in relation to the scandals.

Penn State professor Philip Jenkins (who is not a Catholic) has written the most objective book on the subject, and he summarizes his arguments in this excellent article. In light of his work, we should remember some basic facts and principles:

  • Priestly celibacy is not the issue - married men are more likely to abuse children than unmarried
  • Most child abuse takes place within the home.
  • All religious groups have pedophile scandals, and the Catholics (while the largest religious group) are at the bottom of the list statistically.
  • Child abuse is prevalent in all areas of society: schools, youth organizations, sports, etc.
  • Statistically, of all the professions, Christian clergy are least likely to offend. Doctors, Farmers and Teachers are the professions most likely to abuse children--not clergy.
  • Among clergy offenders Catholic priests are least likely to offend.
  • Catholic cases of pedophilia make more headlines because of anti Catholic prejudice and because the Catholic Church is bigger and more lucractive to sue.
  • Pedophilia and Euphebophilia are different problems. The former is sexual attraction to pre-pubescent children. The latter is attraction to teenagers. Most cases branded 'pedophila' are actually 'euphebophila.'
  • Most of the cases of euphebophilia are homosexual in nature, however the politically correct do not want this problem to be associated with homosexuality.  Ya think?
  • The number of Catholic priests guilty of pedophilia is very small.
  • What we now call 'cover up' was often done in a different cultural context, when the problem was not fully understood and when all establishment organizations hushed scandals. They did so for what seemed good reasons at the time: protection of the victims and their families, opportunity for rehabilitation of the offender, the avoidance of scandal to others. It is unfair to judge events thirty years ago by today's standards.
  • When lawsuits are looming people smell money. We must be wary of false accusations.
  • The accused must be entitled to a fair hearing. The church should insist on hard proof of the abuse, and for the sake of justice, ensure that the innocent are not prosecuted.
  • When guilt is established the offender must be punished, not sheltered.
  • Distinctions must be made between types of abuse. Some offenses are worse than others. Verbal abuse or corporal punishment during a time when that was acceptable, while lamentable, is not the same as sexual abuse or extreme physical abuse.
  • Sexual abuse of an adult, or a sexually experienced older teenager is wrong, and damaging, and should be punished, but it is not the same as the sexual abuse of a younger, innocent child.
  • Number of offenses must be considered. One lapse is not of the same seriousness as repeated, persistent and premeditated offenses.
  •

    Liberal noose on campus

Odds are, 'she' is not Africanus-Americana, as in "I am distraught to know that I have unintentionally added to their pain".  Probably Mexicanus-Americana or whatever, but definitely Liberalanus.

Liberalanus was just sittin' around with friends, playing with the rope and made a noose.  We all do this, don't we?  Then, she took it to the library, "strung it above a desk and forgot about it."
